What can you expect to see in the fashion lineup for this upcoming season? A trend towards nomadic fashion is subtly arising through the work of some of the world’s top designers.
This global exchange of sorts illustrates a mixture in styles, textures, and patterns between a number of cultures. More than just an ecclectic hippie-gypsy movement, nomadic fashion plays on a mixture of Oriental and Middle Eastern patterns and decorations mixed with natural materials. Renowned designers like Duro Olowu, Anna Sui, Nicole Miller, and Tsumori Chisato all filled the runways with nomadic fashion.

Outfits are layered with many textures and fabric weights playing into the fusion. Texture and volume are important in the overall composition of the outfit, which can be achieved through the inclusion of skirts, shawls, and blankets.
Nomadic people lived outside and faced the elements daily. They traveled through a variety of climates, and their clothing reflected their behavior. Here we see garments made from traditional materials like wool, fleece, leather, and cotton appearing, decorated with ethnic patterns. The clothing is loose and flows around the wearer.
Colors popping up in this fall trend respect the natural and earthly legacy of the nomadic woman. She shows her appreciation for the earth and adorns herself in shades like khaki, nut brown, smoke, brick, alabaster, and silver shadow. This fashion trend indicates an attitude of adventure. To get the look for yourself, choose heavier pieces like turtlenecks, sweaters, and vests in earthtones to complement lighter pieces like skirts and dresses. Look for bold designs and patterns, drawing inspiration from animal print, African textiles, Oriental designs, and Middle Eastern print. Layer on a shawl, scarf, or sarong. Accessorize with leather sandals or leather boots, vintage fur trim, and long necklaces made out of wooden beads or seeds.

Drink to Your Health in Style: E4B has Hot Design
If we could give an award for the coolest looking juice container, E4B would win. Although it’s a bit of a stretch calling the product “juice.” Fruit mush might be a more appropriate term for this banana-apple-etc mashup. With a consistency of applesauce, each of the packages is stuffed full of all your daily fruitrients. Each flavor is made with the finest fruit – no additives or preservatives. The E4B fruit puree snacks are designed to main the healthy body. E4B promotes their fruit medleys stating that the stronger and more intense the fruit color is, the more antioxidants you’re getting. Since antioxidants lead to a happy healthy body, E4B packs in lots.
Each of the five flavors combines a variety of fruits. And they’re good. Pop a couple in the frig to keep cool, and then head to the gym, to class, to work, wherever! We did, and not only do the E4Bs make a great light snack, they’re by far the coolest food product you will ever pull out of your gym bag.
Designed for grab-and-go efficiency, E4B’s innovative packaging was first designed in Japan for NASA astronauts. They have easy-screw tops, they’re re-sealable, and the materials help the fruit retain its vitamins and minerals for a longer period of time.
For $30 (free shipping) you can experience 10 E4Bs – two of each flavor! We liked them, so you might too. They go well over ice cream, they’re the perfect (healthy) late night snack, and you can even mix them in your cocktails. Add a little kiwi, mango, pear caramel, strawberry-banana, and blueberry-raspberry to your life now.

Victoria's Secret Goes Green
Victoria’s Secret, the largest women’s lingerie retailer in America, will reportedly go green in the near future. Victoria’s Secret, the largest brand in the publicly traded Limited Brands, along with its more youthful Victoria’s Secret Pink, are making plans to enhance their environmental appeal by introducing mini collections of environmentally conscious items. The apparel will likely include fleece t-shirts, tank tops, and accessories made from organic cotton.
The brand believes that their consumers are ready to have some eco friendly options when shopping. However, the items will only comprise a small portion of the brand’s collection. Victoria’s Secret was launched in 1977 as a more personalized and inviting means of lingerie shopping. The more vibrant VS Pink line was introduced to target a younger generation, including teens and tweens.
Plans are still in the works to determine how Victoria’s Secret can enhance public consciousness surrounding green retail. After receiving massive criticism for printing its catalogs on paper from clear-cut Boreal forests in Canada, in December the company switched to a recycled paper source.
